This program was very helpful for me as a newcomer.
I learned important job search strategies, like how to write a resume and prepare for interviews. The sessions about banking and health care in Alberta helped me understand how to manage my money and access medical services. I also gained useful knowledge about tenant rights, laws, and getting a driver’s licence. The overview of Calgary and available newcomer services made it easier for me to know where to go for support.
Overall, the program gave me confidence and practical knowledge to settle and live successfully in Alberta.
