Calgary: A New Chapter" webinars helped me feel more confident as I am a bit overwhelmed starting my new Canadian life. It was a great opportunity to listen to professionals talking about vital issues and then ask questions. I managed to clarify many points concerning health care, education, banking, tenancy, etc.
I recommend all new comers writing a new chapter in their lives to come attend this informational program as the first step. You get a chance to set your bearing right for a smooth sail ahead.

This was a complete and full package workshop, covering all necessary related topics for settlement of newcomers and I will highly recommend this program for every newcomer to participate.
The best part of the workshop was having the guest speakers presenting their own related topics as they were experts in those areas and presented the topics outstandingly very well, which was a good initiative by CCIS.

Post arrival service provided to newcomers to Canada is very helpful to me. I had to spend some time because the program is comprehensive but it is totally worthwhile to do so. I was privileged to attend the 7 workshops hosted by Calgary: A New Chapter and it was very informative and definitely would recommend every new comer to be a part of this workshop as it sets the right path for one to get employment and other useful resources.

I had the opportunity to attend one of their workshops, the Calgary: A New Chapter workshop and I must confess I’m happy I did. The session was well packed with all the necessary information a new migrant needs to settle in smoothly and have a beautiful life in Canada. The program gave me insight into transportation, health, finances & mortgage, food bank, tax, driving license, law enforcement, and last but not the least getting started career-wise in Alberta, Calgary.
